GMS 선교회 GMTI 훈련 수료(112기)
Completion of GMTI training(112th) for GMS
지난 3월 6일부터 4월 28일까지, 8주간 한국 GMS 선교회에서 GMTI 112기 훈련을 은혜 가운데 잘 마쳤습니다. 총 12주의 훈련 중 마지막 4주 과정은 영어 훈련으로 진행되는데, 저희 부부는 사전에 시험을 통과해서 8주 훈련으로 수료를 하게 되었습니다.

새벽예배부터 저녁 일과에 이르기까지 빽빽한 스케쥴로 진행되어 처음에는 익숙치 않았지만, 한 주 한 주 시간이 흐르며 몸과 마음이 더 정돈되어 지난 삶을 돌아보고, 앞으로의 계획을 건강하게 세울 수 있는 시간이 되었습니다.

함께 선교사의 길을 걸어갈 동기들과 훌륭한 선배 선교사님 멘토들이 생겨 더 의미있는 훈련이 되었습니다. 앞으로 허락하실 미얀마에서의 모든 사역을 기대함으로 나아갑니다.
From March 6th to April 28th, our GMTI 112th training was successfully completed at the Korea Global Mission Society for 8 weeks. Of the total 12 weeks of training, the last 4 weeks are English training, and my wife and I passed the exam in advance and completed the 8-week training.

It was not familiar at first because it was conducted on a tight schedule from dawn worship to evening routine, but as time passed week by week, the body and mind became more tidy, and it became a time to look back on the past life and to make plans for the future in a healthy way.

It was a more meaningful time because we had fellow-workers and great senior missionary mentors to walk the path of missionaries together. We move forward with anticipation of all the ministries in Myanmar that will be allowed in the future.

훈련을 통하여...
Through this training...
1) 그 어떤 사역보다도 믿음 안에서의 가정 생활, 개인의 영적생활, 건강과 시간 관리, 청결한 삶 등이 기반이 된 건강하고 균형있는 선교사의 삶이 최우선시 되어야 함을 배웠습니다.

2) 눈에 보이는 성과를 쫓아 사역하는 것이 아닌, 하나님과의 관계를 가장 우선시하며 그 뜻안에 사용되는 도구가 되어야 함을 배웠습니다.

3) 선교사의 삶 마지막에는 건물이 아니라 예수 그리스도의 제자로 훈련한 사람이 남는 것임을 배웠습니다.
1) We learned that a healthy and balanced missionary life based on family life in faith, personal spiritual life, health and time management, and holy life should be given top priority more than any other ministry.

2) We learned that we should prioritize our relationship with God, and become tools used within God's will, rather than following tangible results.

3) We learned that at the end of a missionary's life, it is not the buildings that remain but the people who have been trained as disciples of Jesus Christ.

아이들도 함께 훈련받는 시간
For children to train together
첫째 윤아는 한국에서 처음으로 초등학교를 다녀보는 시간이었습니다. 미국에서, 미얀마에서 계속 영어로 교육을 받았지만 한국 초등학교에서도 5학년 과정을 큰 무리없이 잘 소화할 수 있어서 감사했습니다. 학년 전체가 12명 밖에 안되는 작은 학교에서 8주간 즐거운 추억을 쌓았습니다.

둘째 윤형과 막내 윤후는 훈련원 근처의 어린이집에 보내며, 하원 후 저녁 프로그램인 신앙교육으로 함께 성장하는 시간이 되었습니다. 아이들의 생활 패턴과 식습관도 보다 건강해질 수 있었으며, 저희 부부는 훈련을 통해 MK(Missionary Kids)의 정체성을 가지고 살아가야 하는 아이들의 양육과 진로에 대하여 더 기도로 구하는 시간이 되었습니다.
It was the first time for Yuna to go to elementary school in Korea. She'd been educated in English in the US and in Myanmar, but it was grateful that she was able to handle the 5th grade course without much difficulty in Korean elementary school. She spent eight fun weeks in a small school with only 12 students in her entire grade.

Isaac and John were sent to a daycare center near the training center, and it became a time for them to grow together through the evening education program. Their lifestyle and eating habits were also able to become healthier, and it was time for my wife and I to pray more about the upbringing and future of the children who have to live with the identity of MK (Missionary Kids) through training.

기도제목 Prayer Requests

1. 미얀마 시민들에게 긍휼을 베풀어 주시고 위기 상황을 잘 극복하여 나라가 안정될 수 있도록.
For God's mercy to the people of Myanmar and overcome the crisis well so that the country can be stabilized.

2. 이 시대에 맞는 사역전략을 잘 세우며 믿지않는 자들에게 복음이 전해지고 그리스도의 빛을 비출 수 있도록.
To set up a ministry strategy suitable for this age so that the Gospel can be preached to unbelievers and the light of Christ can shine.

3. 미얀마로 다시 들어가는 일정(6월 1일)이 순탄하게 되어질 수 있도록.
For the schedule to re-enter Myanmar (June 1st) to be stable and smooth.

4. 현지인들이 선교사들의 도움없이 자립해나가는 환경이 계속해서 조성될 수 있도록.
To continue to create an environment where locals can stand on their own without the help of missionaries.

5. 날마다 성령님의 세밀한 음성을 듣고 늘 겸손함으로 그 음성에 순종하는 저희 가족 되도록.
Let our family listen to the detailed voice of the Holy Spirit every day and always obey the voice with humility.
